3 / Post manufacture processing.

The level and type of post manufacture processing carried out on a specific assembly is determined by the customer, based on the intended use of the assembly within their facility.

Cellon subcontracts post manufacture processing to approved independent laboratories.
Typical options for post manufacture processing include
1) No post assembly treatment.
2) Irradiation to a minimum dose of 25kGy for bioburden reduction (No sterility validation required /provided )
3) Sterilization to SAL 10-6 (Sterility is validated by VDmax or Method 1 study)
4) LAL testing (Endotoxin testing)
5) Particle testing
2/ Manufacture

Manufacture of Octopus assemblies, including movement of components and final packaging, is carried out within an ISO 14644-1 Class 7 cleanroom facility operated under ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 quality systems
Octopus Assemblies are custom designed and manufactured to meet your specific  requirements in a three stage process :

1/  Specification and Design

The specification and design phase to develop a new Octopus assembly is operated under Cellon‟s ISO9001:2008 quality system procedure .
During this phase the assembly is designed, the construction materials, in process testing (e.g. pressure leak test, cap torque test, visual inspection etc.) packaging and post manufacture processing (irradiation for bioburden reduction, sterilisation validation, endotoxin testing etc.) are specificied.

All product contact components are selected  from approved suppliers on the basis that they meet USP class VI criteria, and where possible are manufactured in a clean room environment and are animal derived component free (ADCF).

During the design phase we  supply  detailed diagrams of the assembly (CAD) and Bills of Materials (BOM)
We manufacture a wide range of custom designed  assemblies  for a wide range of liquid handling
applications including fluid transport, transfer and storage.
